Osgoode is pleased to report that he has survived 2016 and celebrates with two new stories to close out the old year and start anew.

Mr. Walters has been published in several journals, including The Saturday Evening Post, Forge Literary, and Cast of Wonders. He has spent years teaching English in Transylvania.

River and Sea by Nathan Susnik

When he was twelve, Mr. Susnik’s mother forced him to take the Wisconsin boating safety exam. During college, he used this knowledge to become a deckhand on the steamboat Julia Belle Swain. He now lives in Hanover, Germany with his wife and children, where he does considerably less boating.

Narrator Tepic Harlequin is an urchin living in the City of New Babbage. He is eight, going on ancient.
