I like to be told a story. I like to drive very long distances. Put that together and I like story style podcasts.

I also like steampunk. But when I looked around, there did not seem to be a steampunk oriented story podcast that featured the work of various authors as exist for other genres.

For the past five years I produced a show  called Tales from New Babbage, which I was never entirely serious about. You probably figured that out from how seldom the show was produced. Now that I am finally settled from a cross country move and a major lifestyle change, I want to return to that project, but this time take a less introverted approach.

So here I am again, and this time I am calling it Gallery of Curiosities.

For the next few months I will be transitioning from the old Tales format to the new Gallery format. The RSS feed will be the same host so current subscribers will not be dropped. These things take time, but I’ll get there.

I will still be drawing from 19th century sources because there are a lot of little known stories back there that are worth listening to. But moving into the future, I want to hear your stories too.

There’s never a wrong time to start again.
